One day to sharpen how you see and work with teams

Team Coaching in Complexity and Crisis brings leading thinkers and practitioners together for a rare day of live learning, relational practice and professional development - at Ashridge House and live online.

On Friday 13 November 2026, the UK Chapter of the International Coaching Federation will partner with the Hult Ashridge Centre for Coaching for Team Coaching in Complexity and Crisis: The Human Relational Advantage.

This is not designed as another conference where delegates simply sit and listen. It is a day to see team coaching in action, work with the ideas in practice and sharpen the judgement we bring to teams.

Why this conversation matters now

Teams are operating in a world of rising complexity, uncertainty and pressure, while AI is changing how organisations work, communicate and make decisions. As technology becomes more capable, the deeply human work inside teams - building trust, relating across difference, navigating conflict and thinking systemically - becomes increasingly important.

That is the Human Relational Advantage, and it is the question at the heart of the day.

What will you gain?

The programme is designed to help delegates become better able to recognise the relational patterns beneath a team's visible performance problems, read a team as a system rather than a collection of individuals, work with tension and difference, and make more confident choices about when and how to intervene.

A rare part of the day will be the opportunity to watch Dr Erik de Haan coach a team live, followed by a guided debrief of what happened in the relational field and the choices the coach made. Afternoon Practice Labs create space to work experientially with the material, while the opening and closing sessions explore what the next phase of relational team coaching asks of the profession.

The faculty brings together many leading authors, researchers, practitioners and innovators in team coaching, including Erik de Haan, Georgina Woudstra, Dorothee Stoffels, Simon Cavicchia, Laure Fravel, Jazz Rasool, Alison Hodge, David Kesby, Bev Thomas, Simon Western, Melissa J. Sayer and Sally Jackson. Programme and faculty are subject to final confirmation.

In-person delegates can join the full day at Ashridge House, including Practice Labs and face-to-face conversation. Places are limited. Everyone can book now. Until 31 August, UK and Ireland ICF Chapter members and Ashridge alumni can access the special in-person rate of £225 + VAT. Other in-person tickets are £250 + VAT now, and from 1 September all in-person tickets are £250 + VAT.

Online attendance is a meaningful way to take part in its own right. Online delegates join the full morning programme live, take part in an afternoon experiential Lab, rejoin the closing plenary and receive access to recordings of three selected Labs afterwards. Online participants receive the same 7 ICF CCEUs: 5 Core Competencies and 2 Resource Development. The online rate is £175 + VAT for UK and Ireland ICF Chapter members and Ashridge alumni, and £200 + VAT for non-members/Friends. Online booking remains open until 11 November.
