The annual two-day forum took place in Prague at the end of September, following previous gatherings in Brussels in 2023 and Athens in 2024. This year around 50 board members came together from the Western Europe and Baltic ICF chapters. Grace Ong, ICF UK Coaching in Organisations Director, and I attended on behalf of the UK chapter. Across the two days, we engaged in member-focused dialogues, strategy workshops, and peer exchanges.
Getting together as ICF chapter leaders is important for building cross-border coaching communities and strengthening our chapter networks across geographies. Although we are in different countries, we often face the same challenges and issues. Tackling them together and sharing best practices is a real strength.
The forum provided valuable insights on leadership development, chapter growth and the importance of good governance. Grace and I returned with strong connections to other chapter leaders and ideas to review with the UK chapter board. The in-person Prague forum was a powerful and enriching experience.
