Frequently asked questions
If you can’t find an answer to your question here please get in touch.
What is a UK Chapter of ICF Local Coaching Group?
A Local Coaching Group is a friendly, volunteer-led community of coaches who meet in their area, or online, to network, learn and share practice. Each group is part of the UK Chapter of ICF.
Who can attend?
Groups are for coaches at every stage of their journey, including internal coaches, external coaches and anyone who uses coaching in their role. Many groups welcome both members and non-members, so check your group’s page for details.
How do I find a group near me?
Browse the Local Coaching Groups page, then open the profile for your area or region. Each profile shows where the group meets and you can message the Group Leader directly.
How much do events cost, and can I earn CCE credits?
Costs vary by group and event, and each event listing shows the price and how to book. Some events may count towards Continuing Coach Education (CCE), but not all. Check the listing and confirm what counts for your credential with ICF Global.
What if there isn’t a group in my area?
Look at nearby groups, online groups and our Special Interest Groups. You can also contact us about starting a group or volunteering for an existing one.
How will I hear about events?
Once you sign up to the group, you will hear from your Group Leader about the events they have planned. Most groups plan a year ahead.
