If you can’t find an answer to your question here please get in touch.
What’s the difference between ICF Global and the UK Chapter of ICF?
ICF Global is the worldwide professional body. It sets the standards and ethics framework, and it awards credentials. The UK Chapter of ICF brings that framework to life in the UK through events, professional development, networking, credentialing support and local communities.
Which membership is right for me?
Practising coaches join ICF Global first, then add UK Chapter membership. Everyone else can join as a Friend of UK ICF. Use “Find Your Membership Route” to choose.
What do I get as a UK Chapter member?
Chapter membership starts from £50 a year. Members receive discounts on events offering 100+ CCE units, one complimentary professional development series, and access to 25+ Local and Special Interest Groups. You can also market your services through a Google-searchable Coach Finder profile, connect with 2,800+ UK coaches, and get practical guidance on ICF credentialing, ethics and standards.
Can I join the UK Chapter if I am not a practising coach?
Yes, we created Friends of UK ICF membership just for you. This is a UK-only membership for people who aren’t following the ICF Global professional route. These include coaching supporters, those exploring coaching, and others with an interest in the profession. It costs £85 a year.
Do I need to join ICF Global to join the UK Chapter?
Yes, if you are a practising coach. ICF Global membership comes first, and UK Chapter membership is added on top. You don’t need ICF Global membership to join as a Friend of the UK Chapter.
