Frequently asked questions

If you can’t find an answer to your question here please get in touch.

What kinds of events does the UK Chapter of ICF run?

Our events include professional development events and series, credentialing and new member sessions, team coaching and supervision events, and in-person meetings through our Local Coaching Groups and Special Interest Groups. Each event page shows the format, date and what you’ll gain by attending.

Do I need to be a member to book on to a UK ICF event?

Many of our events are open to everyone, at a cost. UK Chapter members find that many events are included in their membership or heavily discounted, so for £50 a year, membership can quickly pay for itself. You’ll also get access to events offering 100+ CCE units a year, one full professional development series free, and access to 25+ Local Coaching and Special Interest Groups.

Will I earn CCE units by attending?

Many of our events carry CCE units. Each event page lists the Core Competency and Resource Development units available. You can count these towards your ICF credential renewal.

How do I claim my CCE certificate?

Attend at least 75% of the session. For stand-alone webinars, complete the short feedback form on the webinar page to download your certificate. For series, complete the feedback form emailed after each session you attend, and your certificate will arrive in your inbox. Save your certificates somewhere safe so they’re easy to find when you renew.

What if I can’t make the live session?

If you book a live webinar, you’ll get access to the recording when one is made. Find it under My Events in your account (check later pages if you’ve booked several). Recordings of series are available to registrants only, through the booking portal or by email. Recordings are streaming only, and slides and resources may be available for up to a year, so get in touch if you need them.

Where do I find my Zoom link, and what time zone are events in?

Zoom details are emailed a few days before the event, so check your inbox and search for “Zoom”. All events run on UK time, with start and end times chosen to suit working hours.
