What’s the difference between ICF Global and the UK Chapter, and do I need both?
ICF Global sets the profession’s standards, ethics and ICF credentials worldwide. The UK Chapter of ICF is your UK community, bringing that framework to life through development, events and support. They are separate memberships, and UK Chapter membership requires ICF Global membership, so join ICF Global first.

Does the UK Chapter award ICF credentials?
No. ICF Global awards ACC, PCC and MCC credentials. The UK Chapter supports you on the way, with events, free CCE opportunities and practical guidance, so you know what each level needs and can keep yours up-to-date.
How much does it cost, and is it worth it?
UK Chapter membership is £50 a year, on top of ICF Global membership. It is designed to pay its way: free or discounted events where you can gain CCE credits, connections that lead to clients and a searchable Coach Finder profile to help your future clients find you. All these benefits can quickly outweigh the cost.
How do I sign up as a member of the UK Chapter of ICF?
If you’re a practising coach, join ICF Global first, then choose Add UK Chapter Membership. If you’re not currently a practising coach, you can join with our ‘Become a Friend’ membership.
