As the UK Chapter of ICF, we bring that global framework to life within the United Kingdom through professional development, networking, partnerships and community engagement. Together, we offer globally recognised professional standards alongside a thriving UK coaching community.

Powered by Coaches Who Care

The UK Chapter of ICF is run by a dedicated network of volunteers who give their time, expertise and energy to strengthen the coaching profession.

What is the UK Chapter of ICF?

The UK Chapter of ICF is the UK community of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the global professional body for coaching. We bring coaches together across the UK through events, learning, networking and community, and we support the growth of professional coaching within the UK.

What is the difference between ICF Global and the UK Chapter of ICF?

ICF Global is the international organisation that sets the professional and ethical standards for coaching, awards ICF credentials (ACC, PCC and MCC) and accredits coach training programmes. The UK Chapter of ICF is the local community of ICF in the UK, the Chapter is run by volunteers. We bring those standards to life through events, CPD, networking and support for coaches and organisations. ICF Global membership and UK Chapter membership are separate, and many coaches choose to have both.

How many ICF Chapters are there?

ICF has more than 140 Chapters around the world, and more continue to be added.

Is the UK Chapter of ICF the largest ICF Chapter?

Yes, at the time of writing, with over 2,800 members, the UK Chapter of ICF is the largest of ICF’s 140+ Chapters worldwide.
