Oxford

The Oxford Coaching Group is a Local Coaching Group of the UK Chapter of ICF. We are a diverse community of coaches with varied expertise and styles, meeting mainly face to face to share, learn and develop together.

About the group

The UK Chapter of ICF Oxford Coaching Group (OCG) brings together coaches from a wide range of backgrounds, specialisms and coaching approaches. We welcome experienced coaches who want to keep learning, as well as people interested in coaching or working towards a credential, whether through the ICF or another route.

The group is co-led by Austin Tay, an organisational psychologist and executive coach; Sarah Fraser, a leadership coach, facilitator and ICF mentor; and David Lowe, a business coach, trainer, author and podcaster. Together we run sessions that blend practical learning with open, reflective conversation, drawing on the ICF Core Competencies.

We meet face to face on the second Tuesday of every month from 10:00am to 11:30am. Sessions are relaxed, friendly and interactive, so you can bring real questions from your practice, try out ideas and learn from peers. Above all, OCG offers a variety of perspectives, honest conversation and a sense of belonging to a local coaching community.

Meet the Leadership Team

Austin Tay

Hello, I’m Austin, an organisational psychologist and executive coach working in leadership development, career transition and workplace interventions. I volunteer because I believe coaches grow best when they learn alongside each other, and the Oxford Coaching Group gives us a friendly, local space to do exactly that. Whether you’re an experienced coach or just starting out, you’re very welcome. I look forward to meeting you at one of our sessions.

Sarah Fraser

Co-Leader

Sarah Fraser

Hello, I’m Sarah, a leadership coach, facilitator and ICF mentor. I love helping people move from “I wish I was…” to “I am…”, and that applies to coaches as much as to clients. I volunteer because a supportive community makes such a difference when you’re developing your practice or working towards a credential. Please come along, bring your questions, and you’ll find a warm welcome here.

David Lowe

Co-Leader

David Lowe

Hello, I’m David, a business coach, trainer, author and podcaster. I’m currently completing a doctorate on the experience and meaning of conversational humour in coaching. I volunteer because I’ve found that the best learning comes from good conversations with curious people, and our group is full of them. Do come and join us. You’ll find a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and, quite possibly, a few laughs.

Get Involved

Whether you have been coaching for years or are just starting out, we would love to see you at a session. Come along on the second Tuesday of the month, bring your curiosity and your questions, and meet coaches who share your commitment to growing their practice. Simply turn up, join the conversation and see whether the group feels right for you.
