UK ICF Essex Local Coaching Group

Join the UK ICF Essex Local Coaching Group, led by Oliver Rendell and Michael Glassock to connect with a supportive community of like-minded coaches, grow your skills through real-world learning, and build your confidence and practice in an encouraging, collaborative environment. With a mix of online and in-person sessions, it’s a great space to learn, share, and feel inspired -whether you’re just starting out or already experienced.

Blending online and in-person experiences, the group offers far more than just meetings - it’s a place to share ideas, spark inspiration, and build meaningful connections. Since launching just a few months ago, the UK ICF Essex Local Group has quickly developed a genuine community feel, with 17 members currently, where everyone contributes, supports one another, and grows together. This isn’t a space for passive participation - it’s a dynamic, give-and-grow environment where every voice matters.

The group meets eight times a year, creating a rhythm that keeps you engaged without overwhelming your schedule. Four virtual sessions dive into core coaching values, helping you deepen your practice while earning CCE credits. You’ll also benefit from two inspiring guest speaker events, plus two in-person gatherings that bring the community to life - think a relaxed summer “walk and talk” and a celebratory end-of-year dinner filled with great conversation and connection. Sessions are spaced every 6 - 7 weeks, with additional informal drop-ins planned for those moments when you just want to connect, reflect, and explore ideas together.

Members consistently highlight the calm, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere that Oliver and Michael have carefully cultivated. With a focus on building a truly local community, the group is ideal for those based in Essex and surrounding areas -especially as more in-person opportunities continue to grow.

With engaging discussions, valuable learning opportunities, and inspiring guest speakers - including experts like Roger Fielding MCC and Marcus Oldroyd, a former hostage negotiator turned leadership coach - this is more than a coaching group. It’s a community that will challenge you, support you, and help you become the coach you aspire to be.
