ICF Converge Paris Summit 17-19th May 2026

June 17, 2026

Attending the ICF Converge Summit in Paris was an inspiring and energising experience that reinforced the tremendous impact of professional coaching worldwide. The event was hosted not far from the Paris’ Montparnasse neighbourhood, made famous after the first world war as the epicentre for art and culture.

The summit was organised around 2 themes:

  • Coaching and AI
  • Coaching and Wellbeing.

The calibre of speakers was exceptional, bringing together thought leaders from coaching, organisational development, neuroscience, leadership, and business transformation. Their presentations challenged us to think more deeply about the evolving role of coaching in a rapidly changing world, while also providing practical insights into ethics, innovation, and the future of human development. The diversity of perspectives created a rich learning environment that encouraged both reflection and action.

Equally impressive was the global community of participants. Coaches, coaching leaders, researchers, and organisational representatives from across continents came together with a shared commitment to connect and network. The conversations between sessions were often as valuable as the formal programme itself, creating opportunities to exchange ideas, explore cultural perspectives, and build meaningful professional relationships. The enthusiasm, openness, and willingness to collaborate demonstrated the strength and maturity of the international coaching community and highlighted the unique role that ICF plays in connecting practitioners around the world.

The outcomes of the summit extend far beyond the event itself. We all left with new knowledge, stronger networks, and a renewed sense of purpose regarding the contribution coaching can make to individuals, organisations, and society.

More specifically for the UK Chapter,  the Converge Paris summit generated valuable insights that will help inform our future initiatives, strengthen member engagement, and support the continued development of coaching excellence across the country. Most importantly, the ICF Converge Paris summit reaffirmed that coaching is uniquely positioned to help people navigate complexity, unlock potential, and create positive change in an increasingly interconnected world.

The next ICF Converge summit will take place next year in Berlin from 23rd to 25th May.
