A Message From Our Co-Presidents

September 16, 2026

We hope that you had a good summer and were able to take some time off with family and friends.  At the UK Chapter of the ICF, we have been busy with recruitment as a number of our board member's terms are coming to an end.

On behalf of the UK Chapter of the ICF Board, we are delighted to welcome our incoming Directors and Associate Board Members (ABMs):

  • Anike Wariebi and Rob Hayward joining as Co-Directors of Partnerships
  • Rachel Rooke and Laurence Hewitt stepping into their roles as Co-Directors of Credentialing & Coaching Standards.
  • Jennifer Challenger joining the Operations Committee as Associate Board Member (ABM) Treasurer
  • Austin Tay is joining the Membership Directorate as Associate Board Member (ABM) for Local Groups. He brings additional support to the work of the existing Associate Board Member (ABM): Sesh Naidoo and Sarah Bramall.
  • Nicola Butcher  is joining the Partnership Directorate. Together with Martha Abramska, she serves as Associate Board Member (ABM).

We are thrilled to have such exceptional volunteers and leaders join us as we continue to evolve our governance and strategic vision to best serve our coaching community across the UK.

At the same time, we want to express our deep gratitude to our outgoing board members who have completed or will be completing their terms in the next few weeks — Grace Ong, Todd Roache, Beth Hope, Julia Griffin, Louise Cumberland, Liv Blaney, Jayne Morris, Jo Williams, Rebecca Daniel, and Matthew Beckford — for their incredible dedication, leadership, and unconditional service to the UK Chapter.
Their contributions have helped move the Board a step further in its transition from a ‘Working Board’ to a ‘Leading Board’ with greater alignment to ICF Global and multi-year local strategic deliverables.
We wish them all the very best in their next endeavour and we look forward to staying in touch.

A number of Directors and Associate Board Members (ABM) are continuing their volunteering with the Board; Adele Lloyd, Debs Wright, Kirsty Knowles, Panos Malakoudis, Emma Thorp, Aysha Tupman, Krisztina Wighardt, Natalie McAree, Sally Jackson and Szilvia Hock- Kovacs. Thank you for your continuous effort, creativity and delivery

As you see, the Board of the UK Chapter is a dynamic and committed community of volunteers focusing on representing all members of the UK Chapter. If you would like to join us as a volunteer, we currently have one Director position available, as well as a number of Associate Board Member positions. Do register your interest here.
