Burnout Coaching

The group is an invitation for coaches who are interested in burnout prevention, recovery and sustainable wellbeing to come together in connection, reflection and shared professional learning.
The group offers a welcoming space to explore the complexity of burnout and the role coaching can play in supporting individuals, teams and organisations. We aim to deepen understanding, strengthen ethical and evidence-informed practice, and foster meaningful conversations around one of the most significant wellbeing challenges facing today’s workplaces and communities.

About the group

Burnout is rarely caused by a single factor. It often emerges through the interaction of workload, nervous system dysregulation, workplace culture, identity, values, relationships and wider systemic pressures. This SIG provides a thoughtful space to explore these complexities and the implications they hold for coaching practice.

The SIG offers a supportive and professionally focused environment for reflective conversations, peer learning, networking and collaborative discussion. Its four flagship online sessions each year may include case discussions, resource sharing, research-informed conversations, guest speakers, panel discussions and facilitated reflective dialogue exploring both individual and systemic perspectives on burnout.

As a developing community, the direction of the SIG will continue to evolve through the interests, experiences and contributions of its members. Between the four flagship sessions, the LinkedIn professional community will provide ongoing opportunities for connection, conversation and shared learning. Live sessions are not recorded, helping to create a welcoming, inclusive and psychologically safe space for reflection and discussion.
