Leadership and Executive Coach – based in Dorset but working internationally

A leadership and executive coach with experience of working with Senior Leaders to help them transform their leadership and in turn their organisations and their teams. I have a strong track record of working across industries in both the private and public sectors, working with leaders at all levels with a passion for working with women stepping into senior roles.

I’ve been working as a leadership and executive coach, consultant and trainer since 2000. With a background in Marketing and HR to Director level, my career to date has enabled me to manage large scale projects across international boundaries.

My focus today
Today, my interests lie in the development of leadership capabilities and behaviours particularly with a view to enabling leaders to create motivated cultures of engagement within their businesses that will result in high performing, motivated and healthy teams and people. As an executive coach I work mainly at Board and Executive Director level. People say I give them the clarity, confidence and courage to lead and manage others more effectively, as well as their own careers and businesses. My experience at board level, has given me a practical understanding of the issues facing leaders today.

In recent years I have had the privilege of working with women leaders – business owners, emerging talent and women stepping into senior roles in organisations. I have loved helping women articulate their ambition and see it come to fruition.
My style
My style has been described as ‘challenging and focused’ while also ‘warm, empathetic and fun’. I have multicultural coaching and training experience and speak French and Spanish. I’ve coached and trained clients throughout Europe and the Americas focusing on strategy, managerial and leadership skills.

Experience
I’ve worked with clients across sectors and industries, from companies such as HSBC, National Australia Bank, BNPP, Lloyds, SEGRO, Microsoft, the NHS, Deloittes, Barclays, Grant Thornton, American Express, Ford, Starbucks, Thomson Reuters, L’Oreal, Adecco and others. In addition, I’ve also worked at Ashridge Business School on leadership development programmes including conducting research for their Future Leaders programme.

I spearheaded the EMEA expansion of an employee and customer engagement programme for Ford Motor Company recruiting, developing and leading a team of c.80 coaches across EMEA, whilst supporting the expansion across other global markets.

I also works with SMEs on their strategy, marketing and people agenda, enabling them to focus on their objectives.

Additional Information

Sonia is a Master Practitioner in NLP and a qualified NLP Coach. She is a member of the ICF accredited to PCC level, and is also qualified in the use of a number of profiling tools, namely Motivational Maps, Basis, Myers Briggs, True Colors, Strengthscope and Hogan. She has an interest in neuroleadership and science and continues to invest in her development as she encourages her clients to do.
