Simon Kay

I work in a partnership with clients to support sustainable changes in behaviour, performance, and general well-being. I will support you with career transitions, leadership development and transition and performance improvement in the workplace. For those in early career stages I will work with you on developing your leadership potential, making career choices consistent with your values and skills. I can deploy many coaching approaches, all underpinned by strong listening and powerful questions. But specifically, if there are deeper problems to address, I can draw on more psychological approaches including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT); and for individuals and teams working internationally I can use a cross-cultural tool. I use the brilliant psychometric tool, Lumina Spark to create a dataset that we can both work with. I like to work on fundamental skills like assertiveness. I will draw on my international careers in cultural diplomacy and health research funding and more recently an MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change. Clients value my ability to both listen and challenge, bringing to light patterns of behaviour and thinking that might be getting in the way of a life lived consistently with what’s important to you. Working internationally, with many clients in Lower Middle-Income Countries, I will adjust my fees to find a happy medium for both of us.
