Patrick Read
I am a Career Coach and Professional Mentor working with people at all stages of their working lives who feel stuck, uncertain, or quietly dissatisfied at work and want clarity before making their next move.
I help clients untangle complex thoughts, test assumptions, and arrive at decisions they feel confident to act on. Much of my work involves creating a space where people feel genuinely heard which allows clarity to emerge naturally.
My coaching is grounded in a long professional career in large corporate environments having worked for more than three decades as a Business Analyst and subject matter expert. I have deep empathy with workplace realities, senior accountability, and the human pressures that sit beneath professional roles. I understand how confidence erodes quietly, how overthinking replaces action, and how capable people can lose momentum.
My style is non-directive and rooted in the belief that clients are far more likely to implement solutions they uncover themselves. I listen closely, reflect accurately, and ask questions that surface what truly matters. Where requested, I can also offer more directive input when that best serves the client.
I offer a one-hour introductory coaching session with a simple promise: you only pay if you feel it delivered value. There is no obligation, no pressure, and no sales script. This reflects how I approach coaching more broadly. Coaching is my vocation and I work with people because I value the conversation and the outcome.
