Laurence Hewitt is a globally experienced executive coach and former corporate leader with over 25 years of professional experience. He brings more than 18 years and 12,000 hours of coaching expertise to his work with leaders from over 400 companies across 30 countries and 14 industries. Laurence is certified by the International Coach Federation (PCC), the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (Senior Practitioner), and is a candidate for the International Coach Federation’s highest level of certification, Master Coach.
With a background that includes 15 years in senior management and executive roles at companies such as IBM, Viacom, and AT&T, Laurence has led large-scale transformation initiatives, Agile enterprise programs, and leadership development workshops worldwide. His coaching is grounded in research-backed leadership and psychological principles, and he specializes in cultural intelligence, executive presence, and organizational agility.
Most recently, Laurence has become an Associate Board Member of the UK chapter of the International Coach Federation, helping guide the chapter’s work on coach credentialing and coaching ethics.
As the founder of Torchwood Coaching, Laurence is known for his mentor/coach approach—combining deep empathy, strategic insight, and a passion for helping clients grow into impactful, authentic leaders.
