Laura James

Supporting those who support others, Laura works with anyone who is looking intentionally for change, and often partners with those in the VCSE (voluntary, charity and public) sectors.

Originally driven by a passion for quality improvement and collaboration, Laura held local, regional and national strategic roles in the maternity sector as a service user advocate, before realising that she could help effect greater change by working in partnership with individuals to unlock their own potential.

Bringing nearly 15 years of experience in facilitation, training, mentoring and coaching, Laura works with you to focus on your development and wellbeing. Having established her coaching business in 2021, she received ICF accreditation (ACC) in the summer of 2023. Among her clients are those in the NHS, teachers and charity leaders and workers.

Working with compassion and curiosity she pays attention to you, listens, observes, and offers a balance of reflection and challenge so that you can achieve the changes you want to make. Coaching sessions with Laura focus entirely on you, what matters to you, what you want to be different, and how you can make that happen.

Choosing the right coach matters

Why choose an ICF accredited coach

Every coach in our UK Coach Directory holds an ICF credential, demonstrating they have completed coach-specific education, met internationally recognised coaching standards and are committed to the ICF Code of Ethics and ongoing professional development.

With an ICF credentialed coach, you can choose with confidence.
