Hans Schumann

I’m Hans Schumann, an executive, career and leadership coach in the City of London, accredited by the International Coaching Federation at PCC level.

I work with senior professionals and leaders across technology, financial services, law, HR and other professional services firms, both one to one and through team development workshops.

I bring more than 25 years of corporate experience to my coaching. I spent six years at the international law firm Ashurst and nine years at UK retail bank Santander, so I understand the demands of high-performance environments from the inside.

Over the past ten years I have coached a broad portfolio of clients, from founders to senior executives. Most of my clients are well established in their careers and ready to take the next step: to lead more effectively, navigate a period of change or build deeper fulfilment and sustained performance at work. I support them with career direction, leadership capability and personal effectiveness. Clients value the clarity and structure I bring, combined with the empathy and judgement that come from having worked in their world.

I also facilitate team and leadership development workshops for in-house teams, typically using the Enneagram or LEGO® Serious Play, with a focus on communication, feedback and team dynamics.
