Carole Pemberton

I bring 30 years of experience as a coach to my work as a mentor and supervisor. My experience has been gained across FTSE 100, large public sector and not for profit organisations, both in the UK and internationally.

My career began with a post graduate qualification in career counselling, and careers work continues to be a focus of my interest. However, time working for an international management consultancy and a UK business school, where I was able to research and write on management led me to executive coaching and working with leaders. My work now has a focus on resilience which grew out of my doctoral research and the subsequent book on resilience coaching. I am interested in the many forms in which loss is experienced and my training in grief therapy informs my coaching in this area. I am an ICF accredited coach supervisor and work with both individuals and internal coaches to develop their practice and where wanted to gain ICF accreditation. I enjoy working with coaches as they move beyond their coach training into developing their own approaches based on their strengths and interests. I see my role as building confidence and supporting each coach to define their niche.
I am trained in many approaches and look to both match with each coach but also to help them recognise and reach out to new learning edges, whilst feeling supported.

Choosing the right coach matters

Why choose an ICF accredited coach

Every coach in our UK Coach Directory holds an ICF credential, demonstrating they have completed coach-specific education, met internationally recognised coaching standards and are committed to the ICF Code of Ethics and ongoing professional development.

With an ICF credentialed coach, you can choose with confidence.
