Andrea Nolan
Coaching is a unique opportunity to enter into a creative partnership with someone who can give you their full attention, listen and engage with you in exploring important professional and/ or personal concerns.
My own style of coaching is Ontological Coaching. This works with what is known as your ‘way of being’. It recognises that we have each been shaped by our background and experiences and that shaping (which we are usually blind to) leads us to interpret and act in the world in particular ways and not in others. These interpretations and actions may serve us in some ways and limit us in others. In ontological coaching we take a look at new actions that might help you achieve what you are looking for whilst also taking a respectful and non-judgemental look at the self behind the action. Our aim is to retain what works, build on that and expand your capacity to act in new and generative ways.
Ontological coaches work with a combination of somatics (body-mind intelligence), emotions (engagement with life) and language (conversation with self and others) in order to create deep level and sustainable change for their clients. In ontological coaching the client’s wellbeing is of central concern.
If your focus is leadership or organisational, we can combine the above with business-related results if you would like to do so.
You are welcome to get in touch for an introduction to coaching and an exploration around whether this style would be right for you. I provide a 30-minute complimentary session for these purposes.
If you are already an ICF-certified coach I also offer mentor coaching.
In addition to my PCC, my qualifications include:
For coaching and restorative change work:
Newfield Certified Coach (NCC) (2015)
Certified Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (including Certified Trainer of Coaches and Master Coaches) with the ABNLP (2008)
Certified Trainer of Hypnosis with the ABH (2008)
Certified Trainer of Time Line Therapy(TM) with the ABTLT (2008)

Certified Psychometric Assessor (Level B) with the British Psychological Society (1998)
Certified User of Psychometric Instruments with Thomas International (2008)

I have also undertaken a number of other training courses that inform my own approach and I will often draw on and blend work from different fields.
