Amanda Livermore

My primary focus is creating empowering environments where individuals feel heard, seen and supported. It is in such spaces I believe we humans can thrive.

“I have a definition of success. For me it’s very simple. It’s not about wealth and fame and power. It’s about how many shining eyes I have around me.” – Benjamin Zander

In demand as a Coach, Coach Mentor and Supervisor, what matters to me, is to support fellow coaches to sharpen their coaching practice in what ever way that means for them and support them to develop the different facets of self-acceptance creating more intentional, constructive, realistic and meaningful decisions, actions and relationships.

The principles I live by…
I believe that the most important relationship we have, is the one with ourselves, tending to find that if we are disconnected with someone/thing else, we tend to be disconnected with ourselves also. To that end, I believe that by co-creating an enabling safe space, listening deeply to what is and isn’t said and being present gives rise to profound opportunities to deepen thinking and increase realisations while bringing the thinker back into alignment.

I have a deep interest in understanding the human being, how we think, our processes and how they change over time; leading us to develop and grow, by enabling firstly self-connection which in turn brings about a richer connection with others.

Professional practice
An ICF accredited coach (to PCC), a Coach Supervisor and Coach Mentor, I have worked within the learning and development space for 20-years and more and remains passionate about ethical, qualitative partnership that promotes growth for all.

A coach and facilitator of individual, organisational and group development, my focus is on Exec coaching and relational systems, working with aspiring, new and existing leaders to maximise the quality of their relationships, thinking, actions and outcomes of both the individuals and their teams – and all while being human. My aim is to build inclusive, embracing, ‘safe’ and innovative environments within which people can thrive.

What others say
Amanda brings both an incisive mind and genuine warmth to her work. Partners speak of events lead by Amanda as “being a professional inspiration and someone who gives me confidence when I find myself in a facilitation setting” and of her coaching as “transformational”.

Her inspiration
Amanda was inspired by the Thinking Environment Approach; she is keen to bring this approach into organisations to create the space for inclusive, qualitative thinking.
