Alexa Smith

As a PCC coach, I work with neurodivergent leaders and senior professionals and with neurodivergent adults more broadly. Capable, senior, and quietly exhausted from adapting. I coach online, working with clients across the UK and internationally.

I work with neurodivergent adults — ADHD, autistic, AuDHD, dyslexic, dyspraxic — and with executives and leaders navigating demanding roles.

Much of my work is with people who are capable and doing well on paper, but who are quietly worn down by the effort of adapting to environments that don’t fit how they think. We work on understanding how your brain actually operates, reducing overwhelm, and building approaches that hold up under real pressure rather than only in theory.

I hold a PhD in Developmental Neurobiology (UCL, research conducted at the MRC National Institute for Medical Research) and spent twenty years in senior roles at AstraZeneca, Cancer Research UK and UCL Business before moving into coaching full time. That background means I understand the organisational contexts my clients are working in.

I’m an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with close to 1,000 coaching hours, and I’m neurodivergent myself.

I coach online, working with clients across the UK and internationally. Organisation-sponsored engagements welcome.

Choosing the right coach matters

Why choose an ICF accredited coach

Every coach in our UK Coach Directory holds an ICF credential, demonstrating they have completed coach-specific education, met internationally recognised coaching standards and are committed to the ICF Code of Ethics and ongoing professional development.

With an ICF credentialed coach, you can choose with confidence.
