Aboodi Shabi
Executive coach with nearly 30 years experience of coaching leaders and individuals all over the world, I also work with coaches to support them in reflecting more deeply on their coaching practice.
I’m an experienced leadership coach, group facilitator, coach-trainer, and keynote speaker.
Almost all of my life, I’ve been working with people, first with a long career in the voluntary sector, and then getting involved in coaching in the mid-1990s. Since that time, I’ve worked with thousands of people all over the world, with teams, groups and individuals, as a coach, trainer, mentor, facilitator and keynote speaker.
I’ve had a leadership role within the coaching profession, first as founding co-President of the International Coach Federation’s UK chapter in 1998, and later as an ICF global board member. I’ve been accredited as a Professional Certified Coach by the ICF since 2003. I am also on the editorial board of Coaching at Work magazine.
For many years, I was the lead trainer for Newfield Network’s ontological coaching programmes in Europe, and I’ve also led training courses for various European coaching schools, and been a regular speaker at coaching conferences all over the world. I also spent 6 years working for Henley Business School teaching in their coaching programmes, and focussing on Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
I’ve written articles for several coaching publications, and most recently wrote the chapter on Working with Emotions in Coaching in the latest edition of “The Coaches’ Handbook”.

Choosing the right coach matters
Why choose an ICF accredited coach
Every coach in our UK Coach Directory holds an ICF credential, demonstrating they have completed coach-specific education, met internationally recognised coaching standards and are committed to the ICF Code of Ethics and ongoing professional development.
With an ICF credentialed coach, you can choose with confidence.
