About

I’m a Psychologist, specialising in Work & Organisational psychology, ICF-credentialed Coach (ACC) and founder of Swander, where I help people think differently, discover their strengths and make meaningful changes in work and life.

Before stepping into coaching, I spent nearly 20 years working in recruitment and talent development across international organisations, from global corporations to fast-moving start-ups. Along the way, I’ve interviewed thousands of people, explored countless career stories and learned one thing: there’s rarely just one right path to making a difference.

Outside work, I’m a mum, a lifelong learner and someone who enjoys questioning the conventional way of doing things.

My role at the UK Chapter of ICF

What happens when you bring together passionate coaches who want to make a difference?

My role is to help turn that enthusiasm into opportunities!

As Associate Board Member for Recruitment, I help attract, identify and connect talented volunteers with opportunities across the UK Chapter of ICF, particularly Director and Associate Board Member positions.

Recruitment is about much more than filling vacancies. It’s about understanding people’s strengths, motivations and aspirations, and finding where they can make a meaningful contribution.

I work alongside Board colleagues to support a fair, structured and welcoming recruitment process, helping candidates explore how their experience and perspectives could contribute to the Chapter’s future.

And because we’re a volunteer-led community, I’m especially interested in making opportunities accessible to people with different backgrounds, experiences and availability.

You don’t need to tick every box to bring something valuable to the table.

Sometimes the most interesting contributions come from people who bring a fresh perspective.

Why I volunteer

I believe professional communities become stronger when people contribute, not just participate.

When I joined the Board, I was also navigating a major personal transition: becoming a mum. It wasn’t exactly the perfect time to take on something new!

But it reminded me that growth rarely waits for perfect timing.

I volunteer because I believe in creating opportunities — for others and ourselves.
