About
As Co-Director of Credentialing and Standards for the UK Chapter of ICF, and an ICF PCC executive coach, I bring a broad perspective shaped by coaching, law, recruitment, executive search, career strategy and business ownership. That mix means I naturally look at standards from both a human and organisational perspective: what helps coaches practise with confidence, what builds trust with clients and what strengthens the credibility of our profession. I’m particularly interested in how coaching evolves responsibly as technology and expectations change. I bring a practical, thoughtful approach, with a strong focus on exploring ethical practice and making standards clearer, more relevant and easier to apply in real life.
My role at the UK Chapter
I support our work around credentialing and professional standards, helping coaches understand their options, navigate the credentialing journey and feel more confident about what’s expected. A key part of the role is improving access, reducing unnecessary barriers and supporting greater inclusion across the profession. We also create opportunities for ethical reflection, shared learning and connection, helping members learn from one another and feel part of a wider professional community.
Why I volunteer
Coaching has shaped my own career in ways I never expected, so supporting other coaches feels personal as well as purposeful. I care about making the profession easier to navigate, creating space for thoughtful conversations and helping people feel connected rather than isolated. For me, the strongest standards still leave room for humanity, curiosity and real human connection.
